Our performance piece Experiments and Observations on different Types of Air got accepted in to the VIVO signal & noise festival. We are very excited. This is a piece that Sara Gold and I performed at Rizome recently. Sarah will be doing a work shop on Sunday April 25th as well.

the opening for the show in which the benches we made was last friday at 716 gallery on hastings. the benches came out pretty nice. i am happy with the designs and we learnt a lot about screen printing..specially such large sized images.

Greg and I have been collaborating.

Greg works upstairs from my studio. He makes awesome furniture. I am trying to create designs for the wooden benches and screen print on them. This will also be my first time making such large prints let alone print on wood.

I am also working on a contract redoing the website of a design firm Ryan. located in the malidves.

This is a series i am creating for the culture crawl happening this november...
a series titled "LOVE MACHINE"... these were doodles that were digitally manipulated.. i am thinking of screen printing them on masonite and touching them with acrylic

I finished the poster design and the postcards for the film "Out in the Cold".. finally they have gone to print. Dont forget to check out the film at the Vancouver Film Festival...thanks to Julia for helping with the concept design..

The film Out in the Cold makes it to Vancouver Film Festival. We are frantically working on to complete the posters, invites and the website before the actual screenings...

Pets and Friends doc almost done :)

Shooting for Pets and Friends is done and we have already screened the first cut of both the promotional video and the actual doc. They seem to be OK with it with some minor changes. Chris will be doing the music for this as well. This is my first time working with Chris.
I am also finishing the packaging for a Canadian production titled "Out in the Cold". It seems to have taken me longer than I thought to come up with a concept for this. The poster, postcards, Invites, and the websites will have a similar theme if this concept gets approved.

I was privileged to see a draft of the film and it was really good. I cant wait to see it in the festival circuits.

Finally the Embracing Canada series is complete and the last episode went online a few weeks back. It has been a great experience and would love to do one more project like this. We will see if this series get to other venues.

Alex has finished writing the draft for the Pets and Friends documentary. We will be submitting the draft and see what these guys say. Hopefully there wont be much change. I am itching to get this project going and shoot as soon as possible. I think it will be a fun project to direct and edit..
